Hi I'm Magri-jade

I'm a 41-year-old mama to two beautiful children, and let's just say neurospiciness runs strong in this household.

Before becoming a mum, I spent my career in catering. I've worked my way through almost every role imaginable - from kitchen porter to head chef and kitchen manager, from front of house to events manager. When I eventually fell out of love with food, I even worked in catering recruitment for a while.

I've always been a foodie, but something never quite sat right with me. I loved food, yet there was always a feeling that something was missing. Cooking our food didn't feel completely natural, but I couldn't put my finger on why until I discovered raw veganism.

I've been through it all: a heavy meat eater, a binge eater, vegan, not a very good vegan, raw vegan, not a very good raw vegan. What I've found is that no matter how far I drift, I can always pull myself back and reset through juice fasting.

It is genuinely the most powerful tool I've ever come across in my life.

It's something I believe in with my whole heart and soul.

Life, of course, has a habit of happening. Grief, admin, business, children, single-parent life, relationships, responsibilities... sometimes I lose alignment and reach for comfort. But every time I do, the experience only reinforces my belief in raw veganism and juice fasting. The contrast becomes impossible to ignore.

I've completed a 120-day juice fast. I've spent years eating completely raw - no salt, no oil, no sugar. Then I've fallen off, eaten cooked food here and there, and felt the aches, pains, sluggishness and bloating return almost instantly.

What's interesting is that every time I fall off track, more time passes before I return. Not because I've given up, but because I'm learning. I'm growing. I'm understanding myself on a deeper level.

And every time I come back, I come back with more wisdom, more compassion and even more certainty about what truly makes me feel alive.

For me, juice fasting isn't a diet. It's a reset button. A healing tool. A way home to myself.
